A couple of year had passed since the work started. Our entire bedroom, the biggest room in the right part of the house, was filled all the way to the roof with large bags of glass wool insulation. Another room was almost full of 5 foot by 5 foot large, 6-inch thick sheets of glass wool. They would become the outermost 6 inches of 19-inch thick roof insulation. Robert took a break at Christmas time not knowing how much of a job remained to finish the project.

It would take an additional two years before the building was ready to live in. All of the Samuelsson´s friends thought it was too big a job "with all those logs" for one man to do on his own. It was it simplest part; it took just 4 weeks of the 120 weeks required for the entire construction job.  Back
